Building Block Library Terms

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These Building Block Library Terms (“Library Terms“) are part of our Terms of Service and apply whenever you browse, use, or share a Building Block through the Dash2Grow services (the “Services“), operated by Dash2Grow Inc. They add to the Terms of Service; where the two conflict on a point about Building Blocks, these Library Terms control.

Words defined in the Terms of Service have the same meaning here.

1. What a Building Block is

A “Building Block” is a prompt, an agent, a skill, or a similar reusable set of instructions made available through the Services, together with any files that come with it.

A Building Block is a set of instructions, not a document. When you run one, it can direct an AI model to read files you give it access to, call tools, and send output somewhere else. Read a Building Block before you run it, the same way you would read a script before running it on your own computer.

2. Where Building Blocks come from

There are three kinds, and the difference matters because it decides who is responsible for what.

Building Blocks we create. Dash2Grow writes and maintains a library of Building Blocks. We license these to you under Section 4.

Building Blocks derived from publicly available sources. Where a Building Block is derived from a publicly available source — for example a public code repository — our commitment is to identify the source and to pass on the licence terms and any attribution that source requires, and not to make a Building Block available where the source’s licence does not permit it. ⚠️ We do not yet have an automated check that enforces this before content enters the library. Until this page says otherwise, treat this as what we undertake, not as a control we can demonstrate — and if you spot a Building Block whose licence or attribution looks wrong, tell us and we will act on it. If you believe a Building Block reproduces your work without the licence or attribution it requires, tell us at legal@dash2grow.com and we will act on it under Section 7.

Building Blocks shared by users. Where the Services allow you to share a Building Block, publicly or within a team, Section 5 applies to what you share.

⚠️ Some of these categories may be empty at any given time. This section describes how each kind is governed, not how many of each exist today.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell Building Blocks, and we do not buy them. Access to the library is part of the Services. There is no marketplace transaction, no listing fee, no commission and no revenue share.

We do not pay you for a Building Block you share, and sharing one does not make you our employee, contractor, agent or partner.

We do not take ownership of a Building Block you share. Section 5 sets out the permission you give us; it is a licence, not a transfer.

4. Your licence to use a Building Block

Subject to your compliance with the Terms of Service and these Library Terms, Dash2Grow grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to use, copy, modify and run Building Blocks made available to you through the Services, for your own lawful purposes, including your own business purposes.

Where a Building Block carries its own licence — for example because it is derived from an open-source project — that licence governs it, and your rights and obligations are the ones that licence sets out, including any obligation to preserve a notice, give attribution, or apply the same licence to what you distribute onward. Where we know it, we identify that licence with the Building Block. ⚠️ Where a Building Block carries no licence information, the licence in the paragraph above still covers your use of it through the Services — but do not redistribute the Building Block itself outside the Services until you have checked what it is built from. Where a Building Block carries its own licence and this Section conflicts with it, that licence controls.

What a Building Block produces is governed by the Terms of Service, not by this Section. Running a Building Block produces output from an AI model, and Section 7(e) of the Terms of Service sets out the licence you get to that output — including that it is subject to your compliance with the Terms and is for your lawful business purposes, and that Section 7(g) makes any rights in an output subject to the terms of the AI Provider whose model produced it. ⭐ What this Section adds is only this: that licence does not depend on who wrote the Building Block.

5. If you share a Building Block

You keep ownership of what you share. By sharing a Building Block through the Services you grant Dash2Grow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, with the right to sublicense to the service providers and AI Providers that operate the Services on our behalf, to host, store, copy, display and make it available to the people you shared it with — publicly, or within your team, as you chose — and to let those people use, copy, modify and run it under Section 4. ⚠️ That last part is what makes sharing work: without it we could show your Building Block to someone and they could not run it. This licence runs for as long as the Building Block is shared through the Services. ⚠️ Where the Services give you a way to unshare or delete it, doing so ends the licence for new uses from that point. Copies already made by other users are not recalled by that, and Section 7 of the Terms of Service describes what deletion does.

You confirm that you are entitled to share it. That means the Building Block is yours, or you have the rights and permissions needed to share it, and that sharing it does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, breach anyone’s confidence, or break the licence of anything you built it from.

Do not share a Building Block that contains credentials, API keys or other secrets · contains personal information about anyone, and never any of the special categories listed in Section 8(b)23 of the Terms of Service · is designed to exfiltrate data, evade a security control, or act outside what a reasonable user would expect from its description · or that you are not permitted to share.

Your Building Block is provided to other users “as is.” You are not liable to them under these Library Terms for how they use it, and they are not your customers.

6. No warranty and no endorsement

Building Blocks are provided “as is” and “as available.” Dash2Grow does not warrant that any Building Block is accurate, safe, secure, up to date, or fit for any purpose, and making a Building Block available is not an endorsement of it, whoever wrote it.

This applies to Building Blocks we wrote as well as to Building Blocks we did not. Sections 12 and 14 of the Terms of Service — warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability — apply in full to Building Blocks and to anything they produce or cause.

You are responsible for what you run. A Building Block acts with whatever access you give it. Review it, and give it the least access it needs.

7. Removal, takedown and rights holders

We may remove or disable any Building Block at any time, including one you shared, and we do not have to give a reason in advance. Where we remove something you shared, we will tell you at the email address on your account.

If a Building Block infringes your rights, or reproduces your work without the licence or attribution it requires, tell us at legal@dash2grow.com. Tell us which Building Block, what work of yours it uses, and what licence or attribution it should carry. Where a user shared the Building Block, Section 9 of the Terms of Service applies — it sets out how we handle a copyright complaint, including what Canada’s notice-and-notice regime requires of us. ⭐ Where WE made it available — including one derived from a public source — there is no other user involved: we deal with it ourselves, and if you are right we remove it, correct the licence or attribution, or both.

If we remove a Building Block you shared and you think we were wrong, reply to the notice we send you and we will look at it again.

8. Changes to these Library Terms

We may update these Library Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or a prominent notice on the Services before the change takes effect, and we will update the “Last updated” date above.
